Configure Extract Tables And Fields

  • Click on Setup

  • Click on Users & Policy

  • Click on Strategic Reporting Download Configurations

  • Strategic Reporting : Select Informatica (NACS CODE) from the drop-down box if there are more than one configured/available.

  • Click New to create a new extract report (Amend can be used to edit and existing report)

The box below following window will open :-

  • Configuration name: Informatica Reporting

  • Root Directory:

    • Click on the folder iconBrowse to

    • Image Added

    • Type the file name C:\Programdata

    • Add a new folder Informatica (F2 to rename)

    • Within Informatica create a new folder Data Extracts (F2 to rename)

    • Click select folder

    • Path should show as C:\ProgramData\Informatica\Data ExtractsProgramData\Informatica\Data Extracts

    • Click on select

    • Click YES to create

  • Root directory new units:

    • Click on the folder iconBrowse to

    • Image Added

    • Type the file name C:\ProgramData\Informatica\Data ExtractsAdd a new folder New (F2 to rename)\New

    • Click on select folderPath should show as C:\ProgramData\Informatica\Data Extracts\New

You can click on the cog to add or remove columns from the extract. It is fine to use the default, unless we decide disk space or write time is an issue.

 

The If you click on Informatica Reporting the configured tables will be listed under the Informatica Reporting entry, similar to below.

  • Click on the BLUE down arrow

  • Click OK to the message

  • Leave the time as default

  • Click on OK

of the tables will run once TPP activates the new strategic report.

Scheduling the extract

Note, As mentioned above, the TPP Gateway must be running during the reporting period, which is from 9pm to 10.30am This can vary depending on the extract job finish time.

Friday evenings are apparently special in terms of generating full extracts, it’s not always possible to create a new extract and have it run a full extract before the subsequent Friday however this requires more testing by development to be sure.

  • Due: Set this to todays date and 23:00

  • Repeat: Tick to keep the schedule on repeat

  • Strategic Reporting Group: Informatica (NACS CODE)

  • Download Configuration: Informatica ReportingConfiguration to download :

  • Click the + to the right of the box displaying Informatica Reporting

  • Informatica (NACS CODE) Click the + to add to the scheduleshould be added to the configurations to download

The following box will open showing the new schedule in a grey box with details.

Note, As long as the TPP Gateway is logged in, the scheduled report will begin automatically downloading at the scheduled time , or nearest time within the extract windowonce TPP has activated the new organisation group.
