Running The Skyline Desktop Connector In Gateway Mode

On The Gateway PC

Note

The user with Strategic Reporting access in TPP will also be granted Gateway access within Skyline. The user will be responsible for logging into Skyline on the Gateway PC and selecting the Practice Gateway Organisation off the list. When the Skyline Desktop Connector is in Gateway mode it’s responsible for uploading the daily extracted data from the C:\Programdata\Informatica\Data Extracts folder on the Gateway PC into Skyline. Note, the user can also log into the Skyline Desktop Connector on a different PC and select the standard practice organisation

To run the Desktop Connector in Gateway mode you need to:-

  • Download the Desktop Connector on the PC you’ve configured the Strategic Report extract on and which runs TPP in Gateway mode

  • Data should already be being extracted into the C:\Programdata\Informatica\Data Extracts folder on the Gateway PC

  • Log into the Skyline Desktop Connector

  • Select your Practice Name Gateway Organisation and click on Continue

  • Browse to C:\Programdata\Informatica\Data Extracts
