Note: The Desktop Connector installation is linked to your individual Windows login profile on the PC and not all users. If you use different PCs within the practice you’ll need to install the Desktop Connector on each PC the first time you login. The reason for the installation being linked to a users profile rather than shared for all users is that no local admin rights are needed to install or upgrade the Desktop Connector.

Note: Once the Desktop Connector is installed this will automatically start in the system tray and a Skyline login box will open when you log into Windows

Installation of the Desktop Connector will take less than 10 seconds to run

NOTE: The first time you log into the Desktop Connector and call up a patient in SystmOne you MUST approve the Skyline mobile device

  • To download click on Desktop Connector

  • The Setup.exe file will download into the downloads folder - click Save

  • Click on the Setup.exe to run the installation

  • A ‘Verifying Application’ box will open followed by the install box below

  • To login right click the connector icon in the system tray and click on login

As mentioned above, the first time you log into the connector and open a patient in SystmOne you MUST approve the mobile device for patient data to be displayed.
