Before you can start the configuration of the strategic reporting extract for Skyline, the PC running in Gateway mode needs to be located. This will need to be logged into TPP as a user who has Download Strategic Reporting Extracts access. If the Gateway is already setup, on the PC running Gateway mode go straight to Extract Configuration Setup below.
TPP have advised Informatica that all practices who use Document scanning have a Gateway mode setup.
Before creating a Gateway mode shortcut or giving a new user Strategic Reporting access, we recommend you check with the TPP helpdesk as to whether Gateway mode is already running.
If the Gateway mode is not running on a PC and a user doesn’t have Strategic Reporting Extracts access, it’s recommended that a Cauldicott guardian account is used however this is the practices responsibility. The member of staff will need to be logged into TPP running Gateway mode 24/7 with the exception of rebooting the PC. There’s no reason why the user should not always log on in Gateway mode.
