Overview

The BMI calculator is used to calculate a patient’s BMI (Body Mass Index) from their height in metres and their weight in kilograms.

Usage

The calculator is used in Health Checks and may be accessed from the action menu outside of Health Checks. Within the calculator there is an option to enter imperial measurements which are then converted to metric to enable the calculation.

Technical Specification

Mandatory Items

  • Height must have a value between 0.5m and 2.80m (to 2 decimal places). The latest entry in the last 10 years should be used.

  • Weight must have a value between 20kg and 600kg (to 2 decimal places). The latest entry in the last year should be used
