  • Login into Skyline with your email address and new password

Downloading the Desktop Connector

Note: The Desktop Connector installation is linked to your individual Windows login profile on the PC and not all users. If you use different PCs within the practice you’ll need to install the Desktop Connector on each PC the first time you login. The reason for the installation being linked to a users profile rather than shared for all users is that no local admin rights are needed to install or upgrade the Desktop Connector.

Note: Once the Desktop Connector is installed this will automatically start in the system tray and a Skyline login box will open when you log into Windows

Installation of the Desktop Connector will take less than 10 seconds to run

NOTE: TPP SystmOne ONLY - The first time you log into the Desktop Connector and call up a patient in SystmOne you MUST approve the Skyline mobile device

Note: If the desktop connector fails to download please click on https://936199753613-skyline-shim.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/Skyline.Shim.application

  • The Setup.exe file will download into the downloads folder - click Save

  • Click on the Setup.exe to run the installation

  • A ‘Verifying Application’ box will open followed by the install box below

  • Click on Install

  • The Desktop Connector will now download

  • Once the Desktop Connector has installed you’ll be presented with a Skyline Login box and can login using your credentials

TPP SystmOne ONLY

Note: As mentioned above, the first time you log into the Desktop Connector with SysmOne open you MUST approve the Skyline mobile device. You may need to click onto SystmOne to see the mobile device approval box for actioning.

Note: If you BLOCK the mobile device by accident the device will need to be unblocked before a patient can be extracted in the cue card.

TPP - Unblocking A Mobile Device

  • Click on Setup > Mobile Working & Integration >Device Manager

  • Look under Blocked

    • Right click the Skyline entry

    • Click on Approve Device
