Overview
The Ovarian Cancer calculator uses the Ovarian Cancer eRAT to determine a patient’s risk of having Ovarian cancer based on the most recent data received from the clinical system for that patient and additional data that may be added by the user.
Usage
The Ovarian cancer calculator is designed to be used by a clinician to calculate a patient’s risk score of Ovarian cancer.
Technical Specification
Mandatory Items
The patient must be female and aged 40 or over.
If a value for a symptom is not supplied it is assumed that the symptom does not exist.
Risk Scoring
A risk greater than 5% is considered very high.
A risk score of between 2% and 5% is considered high.
A score of 2% and below is considered low.
