Running A Mail Merge on an Existing Invite Template

If you’ve already setup a Health Checks Invite template following How To Create A Mail Merge Health Checks Invite Template, you can use that document for a new Mail Merge list which you’ve downloaded in Skyline. Note, the downloaded file MUST include the fields which have been setup in the template (Tile, First Name, Last Name, Address 1 - 5 etc)

  • Open the existing Health Checks Invite template in Word

  • In the Start Mail Merge section: Click on Mailings

  • In the Start Mail Merge section: Click on Select Recipients

  • Browse to the file you've downloaded in Skyline

  • Select Table: Click on OK

The Word document should populate information on the first recipient in the Mail Merge list

  • In the Preview Results section: You can use the forward and back arrows to view the letters generated

  • In the Finish section: Click on Finish & Merge

  • Click on Print documents

  • Decide if you want to print All of the letters, the current document (1 letter), or only a select group

In the example below we’ll print all of the letters.

  • Click on OK - your invites should now be printing

  • Close and Save the template
