Appointment Online Password Reset
Check The Patientās Not Locked In AO
Before asking the patient to reset their AO password please check that their account is not locked :-
Click on Utilities (left hand side)
Click on Appointments Online (right hand side)Ā
Click on MANAGE
Click on āUnlock Patient Log-inā
Check to see if the patient is listed
Unlock the patient if needed
Log out of AO Manage
How Does A PatientĀ Reset Their Password?
Patients can reset their own password via email:-
Browse to the practices Appointment Online website
Click on 'I Want To Login'
Click on 'Forgotten Password'
Enter the patients Appointment Online username
Enter the email address which the patient has recorded with the practice (within the clinical system)
Click 'Start Password Reset Process'
An email will be sent to the patients email address (must match the email within the clinical system)Ā
The patient opens the 'Appointment Online Password Reset' email and clicks on the link
The patient types a new password and confirms the new password
The patient clicks on 'Reset Password'
The patient will see a message 'Your password has been reset successfully'
The patient clicks on 'Return Login Page'Ā
The patient logs into appointment Online with their username and new passwordĀ
